My name is Anne. I’m 20, live in Boston, and have a job as a Hostess. I’ve been a fan of The ‘Lips for years, and have seen them four times. At my second show in 2009, my sister and I were asked to dance onstage, and of course we said yes! The picture below shows me in my Super Yetti costume. Unfortunately, the only picture I got with Wayne was taken by a fellow dancer who refuses to respond to my emails.
At my fourth show in 2011, thanks to grungyhipster, I was able to get a dancer pass again, and I finally got my picture with Wayne! Anywho, if you wanna look at my non-Wayne tumblr, here it is: void-stuff
The 2nd Blogmod: grungyhipster
Hello! My name is Ryan. I’m 19, and a native Philadelphian who currently resides in Baltimore. I have a small ushering job, and I like to paint things. Anyway, I have been a HUGE fan of The ‘Lips for almost 3 years now, and I have seen them six times. After spending two years agonizing over whether or not I would ever meet Wayne, I finally got to dance 2 nights in a row in Atlantic City during summer 2011. When I first saw Wayne walking past me, I called out to him, “Wayne, I love you!!” He stopped, turned around, and gave me a big hug, and said, “I love you, too!!!” Wayne and I became fast friends, and now I even have his cell number (which I will NEVER give out so don’t ask). We have hung out together many times before/after shows. We like to joke that I’m his “Cosmic Son” because several people pointed out that I resemble him when he was younger (I’ll post a photo of me and him just to prove it).
